What effect will the cancellation have on the subsequent dates of interpack?

Why is interpack not held as a virtual event?

With regards to complex packaging and process technology, whether individual modules or entire lines or even packaging materials, visitors want to be able to experience and touch it live in order to be able to make successful investment decisions. In the case of machines and systems, the supplier-customer relationship plays an important role, with any necessary specific adaptations and the necessary maintenance of the technology. This is all about trust, which is most likely to be built through face-to-face contact.

However, exhibitors and visitors can still find out about the latest news from the industry as well as trends and new products at www.interpack.com. All approved exhibitors will continue to be listed in the database and the "Exhibitor and Product Search". There they can actively inform visitors about their innovations. These services will be continuously developed and expanded. Thus, for interpack 2023 there will be extended online possibilities available.

How do visitors get the money back for purchased tickets?

Tickets for the original date of the fair lose their validity. Visitors who have purchased such tickets will be informed by e-mail that they will receive a voucher for the subsequent event. If a refund is desired, it can be requested via an online form by 31 January. The corresponding link is part of the e-mail that is expected to be sent to visitors with purchased tickets during the week of 7-11 December. Will you reimburse your customers for any costs incurred so far, as a result of booked air and rail tickets, hotel accommodation etc.?

We understand the difficult situation resulting from cancellations of this kind. Please contact the respective provider to address pending issues and find solutions. We are unable to provide any information on contracts concluded by customers with thirdparty suppliers since these were not concluded with Messe Düsseldorf.
